In our conceptual model, we translate the theoretical model into a higher level of abstraction, that allows us to visually show the relationship between different entities and resources. The existing widely known standards of DC/DCterms and CIDOC-CRM are the most used: the first one for the predicates that links some general characteristics to the related items, the latter mainly for the classes of objects. Other useful employed ontologies were FRBRoo and DBpedia. Furthermore, Schema.org proved to be decisive to identify some specific class of items, whereas MODS, Music Ontology, Lido and Premis helped us to deepen the description of detailed types of items, like musical production and digital object.
Taking into account the suggested division by "Who", "When", "Where" and "What", we produce the tables below, with 8 subcategories:
Who: People
When: Date
Where: Place
What: Visual artwork, Audio object, Website, Written document, Event
The "Who", which involves the concept of "Person" and "Corporate Body", results to be the broader category. The table reflects the reality of the situation, in which the role of governments, institutions and single actors makes the difference. The place linked to the production of the items and the building of Tora prison enter in the "Where" category. As for the "When", it mainly depends on the specific release or display date of the objects, like the audios, the artworks and the website. The "Date" class has also the role of marking the starting period of the detention of Patrick Zaki, that has not yet an "endDate". In the "What" section, split into the five macro-categories of the items, we decided to deepen the details that characterized them.
